Frequently asked questions
Is BMW remapping safe?
Done properly, yes. Knock protection and safety limits are preserved, the calibrations are tested, and the original file is backed up. What creates risk is not remapping itself, but a remap that ignores the limits.
Do I have to visit a workshop?
Only if your post-June-2020 car still needs an unlock — that is done at our workshop. Everything else is remote: we prepare the calibration, and you write it to your own car using the MOSTUNED app and an ENET or WiFi-ENET adapter.
Can I go back to stock?
Yes. Your original calibration is backed up, and you can restore it from the app whenever you want.
What is the difference between 280/300 and 320 HP?
280 and 300 HP run on stock hardware, software only — no parts needed. 320 HP needs hardware: a downpipe fitted and suitable fuel. Without a downpipe, 320 does not give you more power — it gives you problems; stay on 280/300.
Which BMW models are supported?
Turkish-market cars with the 1.6 B48B16 (MG1CS003 ECU): 320i (G20), 420i (G22/G26), 520i (G30) and X3 sDrive20i (G01). Coverage is growing — ask on WhatsApp if your car is not listed.
What does "Flasher only" mean?
You buy the app's write access without a ready HP map (€350): you write the file you got from your own tuner yourself; crackle, OPF/DP, Vmax, cold start and RPM settings are included. You can add the 280/300 package later for €500.
Do you perform the unlock?
Yes. We unlock post-June-2020 locked ECUs at our workshop, every day. The car has to come in; book on WhatsApp. Details: Unlock service.
Will this affect my warranty?
Changing ECU software can affect a manufacturer warranty — this is true of all remapping. You can return to stock before a service visit, but the write operation may leave traces in the vehicle. See our disclaimer for the details.
How long does it take?
Immediately. Once payment completes, access is granted to your VIN automatically; the app downloads and writes your package when it connects.
