What does Unlock Check check?

Check the ECU lock status

Unlock Check is used to check the connected vehicle’s ECU lock status. It is free in MOSTUNED. The result is part of Flash preparation; engine, ECU and current software compatibility must also be checked.

How do you proceed?

Connect to the vehicle and run Unlock Check. If the result is locked or an error appears, share the vehicle model and the in-app result with support. Do not proceed to Flash until the required work for a locked ECU has been assessed.

An unlocked ECU does not mean free Flash

Fault reading / clearing, Unlock Check and Logger are free tools. Flash additionally requires a suitable package and VIN authorisation. The app is available to everyone; beta testing continues for selected features.
