What Warning Sounds does
BMW seat-belt, door and information alerts use a fixed sound set. This coding switches warning and information chimes to a different set already present in the car’s software.
Safety warnings are not switched off; only their sound changes. Which sound sets are available differs by iDrive generation.

Can it be done remotely and how long does it take?
Yes; with assisted remote service by appointment or at our workshop in Ataşehir, Istanbul. Estimated time is about 15–15 minutes.
How do I know it works on my car?
It depends on model, production period, iDrive generation and equipment. Send us your VIN on WhatsApp and we will check and confirm before booking.
Can it be reversed?
Yes; coded settings can be returned to factory values. A dealer software update can reset coding, in which case it needs to be reapplied.
