What 300 HP gives you
Levels for the B48B16 1.6-litre engine. The 100–200 time varies with the car, fuel, tyres and air temperature.

How 300 HP is achieved
The 320i, 420i, 520i and X3 sDrive20i sold in Turkey come with the 1.6-litre B48B16 engine for tax reasons and produce 170 PS and 250 Nm from the factory. The engine family shares its hardware base with BMW’s more powerful versions; the factory calibration uses part of that potential.
The 300 HP calibration reworks boost pressure, ignition and fuelling targets and torque limits within the healthy operating range of that hardware. The turbo, injectors and fuel system stay stock. The engine’s own protection systems, knock, temperature and torque protection, are left in place.
Raising torque from 250 Nm to 400 Nm means the transmission must be set up for it too. That is why Stage 2 transmission software is included in our Ataşehir package: the ZF 8-speed handles the new torque correctly and shifts get faster.

The 300 HP process in Ataşehir
- 1 Send us your car model and VIN on WhatsApp; we check compatibility together and plan your appointment.
- 2 At the workshop we first check the car: fault codes, service history and live data.
- 3 The original software is backed up and the ECU is unlocked.
- 4 The 300 HP engine software and Stage 2 transmission software are written.
- 5 A log is recorded on a test drive; once the values are checked, you collect your car.
Which cars?
The 300 HP level is ready for the B48B16-engined G20 320i, G22 / G26 420i, G30 520i and X3 sDrive20i. The workshop package covers the 320i, 420i and 520i; the X3 uses the Flash licence.

300 HP questions
Is 300 HP safe on a 320i?
Yes. 300 HP is a proven calibration used on many cars, prepared within the healthy operating range of the stock turbo and injectors. The engine’s knock, temperature and torque protection stay in place. Our condition is up-to-date servicing.
How much torque is 300 HP?
The 300 HP level makes 400 Nm. The factory figure is 250 Nm, the 280 HP level 380 Nm and the 320 HP level 450 Nm.
What is the 100–200 time at 300 HP?
We target 13–14 seconds at the 300 HP level. The time varies with the car, fuel, tyres and air temperature; you can measure your own car with the free Logger in the MOSTUNED app.
Does 300 HP need a downpipe?
No. The 280 and 300 HP levels are software-only on stock hardware. A downpipe and suitable fuel are needed only for the 320 HP level.
Should I choose 280 or 300?
The difference is 20 HP and 20 Nm; both are on stock hardware. The level is chosen by your car’s condition and the fuel you use. If unsure, read our 280 vs 300 vs 320 comparison.
Can I go back to stock?
Yes. The original software is backed up before the work and you can return to stock at any time.
Does tuning affect the warranty?
Changing engine software can affect the manufacturer warranty, as with any tune. For cars still under warranty we discuss this together before the work.
