280, 300 or 320? Choosing the right level for the B48 1.6

Three levels, one engine. The difference is in power, torque and the hardware required.

Power, torque and 100–200

Levels for the B48B16 1.6-litre engine. The 100–200 time varies with the car, fuel, tyres and air temperature.

280 HP: the balanced choice on stock hardware

380 Nm and a 15–16 second 100–200 range. No parts need changing. It suits drivers who mostly use the car daily and want the widest possible safety margin.

300 HP: the most popular level

400 Nm and a 13–14 second 100–200 range, still on stock hardware. Our €750 Ataşehir package applies this level together with Stage 2 transmission software. On a well-serviced car it is the best balance between daily use and performance.

320 HP: Stage 2 with a downpipe

450 Nm and an 11–12 second 100–200 target. This level is not offered on stock hardware: a downpipe must be fitted and the fuel must suit it. Without the right hardware 320 brings problems rather than power, so we check the hardware together first.

How we choose the level

The car’s condition, the fuel you use and what we see in the log decide it. The goal is not the highest number but the best result that runs trouble-free on your car.

Frequently asked questions

Can I move from 280 to 300 later?

Yes. The Flash licence includes both the 280 and 300 levels, and you can switch between them from the app.

Is a downpipe alone enough for 320?

The fuel must also suit this level, not just the downpipe. We assess both together.
